how to add a subcategory to 'HOME'

    I am not absolutely sure, but I thnk that you want to add additional “view” to the “Home” Tab (in addition to the standard views such as “Dashboard” or “My Money”). If that is the case - simply click on the little “Gear” icon on the far right (next to the camera icon) and then select “Add View”. A new tab will open that you'll be able to edit (including the name of the View itself).

    Let me know if you have any followups, or if I have misunderstood what you are trying to do.

    As @Frankx mentioned…. you may just want another “view” to the “home” screen.

    FYI… the word “Category” & “subcategory” have very specific meaning in Quicken….. —> Tools —> Category List
