Anyone having trouble opening a current version of a file on Quicken for Windows?

Last updated and reconciled this file last month but now the only version showing is from July, 2022 and it will not open. Asks if I want to restore the file from a backup. Anyone else having this problem?

It sounds like your July 2022 file might be a backup file.

When you click on the File menu in Quicken, at the bottom you should see up to the last 4 files that you had opened. If the file you are looking for is listed there, click on it to open it.

If the file is not listed there, then you can do the following: File > Find Quicken Files. The tool will automatically search your hard drive for all Quicken data files (including backups). Scroll down through the list that comes up and see if the file you are looking for shows up there. If it does, click on it and then click on Open File.

Did you find the file you are looking for?
