Latest update TRASHED my accounts - AGAIN

Hesitated applying because it has done this before. Backed up to D drive (HD) as well as a flash drive, Took a screen dump of home screen Applied the update. It came up with all kinds of updates <late> like last time. Balances were nowhere near. I went to restore from the D drive - couldn't find it in directory listing. Luckily I had a copy on a flash drive.
I'm getting leery of applying updates, folks. This is hard on my blood pressure. :)
