I only enable mobile sync while on vacation so I can categorize tx while I remeber what they were, then after syncing to desktop at home I disable mobile sync. When I re-enable next time should I cloud reset first as to not contaminate my data file on desktop ? Thanks

I would say: Yes, reset Sync first, to load a fresh copy without dragging in old data from your last Sync.
- Log out of your mobile app, then do this on your desktop / laptop:
- Go to Edit / Preferences / Mobile and Web
- Click the "Reset your cloud data" link and follow the instructions until it is complete.
- Sync your desktop file to the cloud
- Now log back into your mobile app and make sure you receive the just created Sync file, to replace what's in your mobile app.0
