Current balance not showing

Cog wheel offers options to display current and ending balances. I am not able to select both at the same time. No matter which one I select it only shows ending balance.

Where are you trying to display current balance? In the Account Bar normally displayed on the left of the Quicken screen? Or at the bottom of an account register?

You will only see Current Balance at the bottom of an account register if you have future-dated transactions in that account register which makes the current balance today different than the ending balance on the date of the farthest in the future dated transaction.
