downloading Sam's Club transactions to existing account & sync to cloud

I know that this has received a lot of discussion in the past and I just need a little additional help.
I followed the advice to change the financial institution to "Sams Club personal credit account". It worked! For the first time in a long time, I was able to download transactions for my Sam's card. The problem is that after the download I was then given a choice to add or not add a new account for the download. It would not let me select my existing account in Quicken. So now I have 2 Sam's accounts. How can I combine them and get it to download to the existing account?
Also, starting a couple of weeks ago, when I sync to the cloud it now says it can't sync the Sam's account. It tells me to refresh the Sam's account. Even after I just downloaded to this new account. Why won't it sync????
