Reinvested shares do not get recorded

I have followed this problem over the past year, noting several people have reported this problem without resolution. Namely, when I manually enter a reinvested dividend amount along with the number of reinvested shares and hit the "Save" button, the dividend amount is recorded but the number of reinvested shares comes up "0". I then have to go back in and edit the entry to fix it. When I go back in to edit, the entry I typed now shows "0". Now when I correct the number of shares and hit "save, the correct number of shares is recorded. I am operating on Ventura 13.2.1, using Quicken Version 7.0.0 (Build 700.48698.100).
