How to move Quicken 2010 to new computer ? (edit)

I have been using Quicken Deluxe 2010 for windows for many years and my old PC needs to be replaced. How do I get the Quicken 2010 program and data transfered to my new Dell PC?

I would suggest downloading/installing the free Quicken 2013 Deluxe.

Do you have the original QW2010 installatiion CD or downloaded install program. If so, just install it on the new computer, download and execute the last patch release for 2010 from this link: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html

Copy the .QDF file from old to new computers putting it in the Documents/Quicken folder.

Use File→Open Quicken File to use the newly copied file.
