Do all of the backup files have exactly the same name (not counting the date/time stamp that was added to the backup file name) or are they different from each other?

So does everytime there is a new release, it starts over with a new 5 backups? If so, should I simply delete the older ones?

My "preference" is set for saving 5 backups, but by Backup folder keeps adding another backup everytime there is an automatic one.
