Bank Bill pay causing duplicate transactions (Q Mac)

I bank with regions. I use their bill pay to pay bills. Occasionally, when the check is paid and downloaded as cleared, it will create a separate transaction with the check number as the payee. It doesn't match the bill pay transaction it created when submitting the payment. What can I do to prevent this?

Have you tried to drag the downloaded transaction over the already existing register transaction? That should eliminate the duplicate.
