    Hold down the Option key on the keyboard while selecting menu Transaction > Delete with the subject transaction selected in the register. You will be given the option to cancel the transaction.

    @wjfeeh Sorry, just realized I provided incomplete info. The info I provided is useful if an online pay transaction is "stuck" in the register, but it only affects Quicken locally.

    If you need to send cancellation instructions to the bank, it's a different procedure. In this case, doulbe click the transaction. Click the dark blue Edit Details button below the transaction. Next, click the Bill Pay tab. If the transaction can still be canceled with the bank, then a "Cancel Payment" button will appear here.

    If you already deleted the transaction from the register using the Option-Delete method, but have not sent instructions to the bank, you can restore from a backup, if you have one, to undo that. Otherwise, you will need to cancel the transaction on the bank's website.
