Help. Finally transferring from Vanguard Single mutual funds to Vanguard Brokerage
How do I stop Quicken? I finally transitioned to VG brokerage. I put in a Transfer in my regular VG account to transfer to a new account but I picked ALL and now it's adding each dividend to the new account. It will take forever since the 80s. How can I cancel it? And make one entry in the new account?

Guess it didn't take as long as it looked liked. It finished adding them all. Should i leave them? Or try again. I have 3 more VG funds to transfer to this new Brokerage account. What did you do? I'm on 2013 so I'm manually doing it.

When I transitioned I just used the old Accounts. Since you're not connected, I don't understand why you're creating new Accounts,.

That's what I did for my IRA account. I just kept going. BUT in my Joint regular account I had entered each fund originally as a Single Mutual Fund account so I'm finally putting them all in the SAME account now. I was always having to switch accounts to enter them and would mess up and enter in the wrong account. So finally consolidating them. I just created 1 new account.

I'd leave them. Note it did not per se transfer each dividend. It transferred each lot. Those lots just happened to be associated to each dividend. Trying again won't change anything.
If you choose to simplify to a single lot being added, you lose ability to manage cap gain/losses within Quicken. That is not something I would choose to surrender, but it is a personal choice.

Guess I'll do the other 4 funds the same way. It worked out ok. Although does that mess up my purchase history being they all were added on today's date?

If You're using transfer shares between accounts action your purchase date will remain the same.
