PreTax deductions not working in tax planner

I have been using quicken for several years but just now noticed tax planner and am trying to set it up. My paycheck and my wife's in Quicken has a few pre-tax deductions (retirement, medical account, insurance premiums) but in tax planner none of these are deducted. The taxable income just the two salary projections added together so the estimated tax is very overestimated. How do I get tax planner to deduct the pre-tax deductions?

    Use the Paycheck Wizard to set up your paychecks. It has places to input the deductions you reference that will report in the Tax Planner.
