Balances do not agree
The balance shown in the main window of a brokerage account is n, a positive number. The balance shown in the sidebar for the same account is -37n, a negative number. In other words, the balances are very far apart. The balance in the main window is closer to being correct. Why do they not agree?

The investment account Transactions window (register) balance is the cash balance in a brokerage account. At the top of any of the three investment account tabs (dashboard, portfolio or transaction), there is also a "Market Value as of Today" value… which is not a balance, but a valuation. THAT value should match what shows in your sidebar most of the time, certainly if "Online Balance" is the sidebar prefererence. If you have 'Projected Balance" selected for the sidebar, then they may differ, depending on scheduled and manually entered transactions.
If you look at the Porfolio view for this account, do the holdings, including number of shares for each, exactly match your online account?

Thank you MontanaKarl! In following your instructions, I came upon a transaction that was throwing the balance off. I corrected it and all is well now.
