Amex is not supported for auto-renewal in Canada.

The payment method update page shows American Express support and allows entering an Amex card, but the backend has an error on the renewal, for Canadian Amex cards. You will see if you click on another purchase link for a Canadian product only Mastercard and Visa are supported.

The Canadian purchases are also in Canadian dollars, although unclear. I always get nervous when an interface shows the Discover card whether the purchase is in USD or CND. I have separate USD credit cards, and paying unneeded currency conversion fees is annoying. 

The amounts are in CND dollars.
