Problem with Securities Multiplying

    I have something similar. Some of my securities names metastasized, giving me this

    Totally bizarre, right? And these various versions of a single security have proliferated throughout the data. So I tried to do a multiple edit to change my data to one version only of the security. But even though I'm in Investments, the pulldown menu only allows Payees, not securities. So I can't do a multiple edit of this replicated problem.

    Years ago I had another Payee vs Security problem and so entered all the exact names of Securities into the Payee list, but they still were not recognized.

    And as an aside, if changes were made to the multiple edit box to fix this, could they also include a way to select one date. There is no date edit in the multiple screen. That one should be easy.
