I have one acct listed 2x in Quicken with slightly different names. How to delete one?

Are you using current Quicken Mac Subscription? If so, deleting an account is easy: just right click (or Control-Click) on the account in the sidebar and select Delete in the popup menu.

But before you do: are the transactions in the two accounts identical? Are there any transactions in the account you will delete that are not in the one you will keep? If so, there are a couple of options:

1. To keep the account in the database for historical purposes, but inactive: right click the account and choose Close Account.
2. If there are a few transactions in the account you will close or delete that should be in the account you're keeping, you can drag and drop those from the former account register to the latter account in the sidebar to move them.
