why is Quicken far less reliable?

I have used Quicken since 1993, and over the past year I have encountered so many problems. TD Bank no longer connects or updates, Citibank accounts ceased updating today, and nearly all my accounts fail to reconcile properly leaving me with odd discrepancies between cleared balances and statement ending balance. I waste so much time entering items manually and Quicken costs me an entire day trying to resolve issues. I do not see how Quicken will survive too much longer.
