Downloading transactions from a non-US o Canadian Bank

I really like Quicken, actually I used it in the past, but comes with a restriction that it does not allow to download transactions using OFX or QIF files from banks that are not from the US (or Canada). Other tools can do this, such as MoneyDance with no problem, so I don’t understand why Quicken can’t. I hope this can be fixed in new versions or updates. I have to cancel my subscription due to that. Of course, I can add transaction manually, but this is too time consuming and prone for errors.
