Having set up an Auto Loan account, how do I make an additional principal and interest payment

Using Quick for Mac, version 7.0.4, macOS 13.3.1

I set up an auto loan account with automatic payment reminder linked to my checking account. I want to make an additional loan payment not using my checking account and have the principal and interest registers update for the loan.

I inserted and adjustment payment to the loan account and the principal changed correspondingly. I don't know how to insert an interest payment to the linked register for the loan?
