Error CC-502 on Citibank

    Thank you for taking the time to report this issue to the Community, although we apologize for any frustration or inconvenience experienced.

    This issue has been reported to our Development and Product teams for further investigation and resolution. Though we do not currently have an ETA, you can bookmark this Community Alert to get updates when available and to know when the issue is resolved. If you do not see the bookmark icon at the upper right, please make sure you are logged into the Community.

    That said, if the account(s) giving you this error is a credit card issued through Citibank, then there is a work around that most people are able to use to successfully download. You would start by backing up your Quicken file. Then deactivate the credit card account(s) that has this issue. Go to Tools>Add Account. Search for Citi Cards. Click on the Advanced Options link.

    Select Direct Connect.

    Please make sure that you authorize the connection through your account with Citibank. You can reference this FAQ for more information on how to do that.

    Once you have successfully authorized and Quicken brings you to the Add/Link screen, make sure you carefully review to make sure Quicken is seeing the correct nickname(s) to link your account(s) to and that the Action shows as Link to existing.

    I have the same issue.

    Solution proposed above does not work.

    Continued CC-502 error when trying to connect to citi account.

    Still going on, the workaround above made no difference.

    And the FAQ to which Quicken links from the error message suggest NOT deactivating the account as it "leads to other issues." I cannot post a link but Google "quicken" and "CC-502" (without quotes) and it will pop up.

    I haven't been able to download for more than a month from Citicards. [Removed - Speculation]
