Can no longer access transactions in Merrill Lynch account following download

Lost my download connection for Merrill Lynch account. After re-establishing the connection, investments were updated and visible in "Portfolio", but the "Transaction" tab is non-accessible. My six years of history has disappeared.

    You probably set up your connection with Simple investment tracking. Go into Account Settings for that account and look for the option to change it to Detailed tracking. That should restore your transactions tab, and I don’t think any of your past transactions will have been lost.
