I had this issue and found prior thread was closed, AND it had bad advice in it.

I just spent an hour on the phone with Quicken tech support and we determined that this problem occurs when your data file is corrupted.

Solution is to restore from a backup that was made before the problem started appearing.

You *DO* keep multiple backups, don't you? ;-)
