Deleted Account Still Trying to Update (Q Mac)

I deleted an account as the company was bought out by another and I had to set up a new account.


The old deleted account is still trying to connect. How do I remove the connection with the account being deleted?

    Did you really delete the old account, together with all its transaction history?
    Or did you just hide the old account without disconnecting/deactivating it from downloading?
