How to delete Online Bills

Can anyone tell me how to delete the online bills from the Bills and Income tab? I keep getting a message that there are pending payments that I have to wait to clear before I can delete the payment. However, I have tried to delete accounts that are no longer active and d not have any payments scheduled anywhere and still get the message. There must be a glitch somewhere.

From the gear icon in the Bills, Income & Transfers view, have you tried the Review and Repair options to repair Online Billers and Payments?

Have you reviewed the Tools / Manage Bill and Income Reminders view and looked for left-over reminders that still point to the old accounts?
