Why are the balances shown in the debt reduction tab incorrect?

I would love to use your debt reduction plan. But when I create a plan, it does not reflect the current balances I owe! :(

    Debt Reduction Planner uses account ending balances, not account current balances.

    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.
