Quicken didn't but Discover (Card & Bank) dropped support of Direct Connect AND Web Connect download methods and only support Express Web Connect. Look on the Account List (Tools menu) to see what is established for your account.
If it is not EWC, then you will need to de-activate it and then re-activate for the EWC download method. Check on the Discover website for any special instructions you might need to follow for the re-activation.
Thankfully, Discover Card and Discover Bank access is NOW working, for me at least. What a lengthy ordeal!! More than 3 months not working. Help said they escalated my issue and I would hear back. NEVER heard back! Lots of posts here about this issue. Quicken needs to figure out why this took so long to fix and then make necessary changes. AND tell us what they found out and how they fixed it - in their occasional newsletter!!
Hi @angeliquemarie
I was able to get my discover cards back to downloading by hitting the back button when getting to the sign on screen after it failed. So right were your screen shot is click back. When you do that it should take you to the screen that shows all the banks listed. The default already selected was Discover Bank. I think it is a different site and that is why it wasn't working before as it's going to the old site. At least that is my theory. It has been working for me for 2 different accounts since I did it this way. Hope this helps. I wish I could give credit to the OP who posted this somewhere on here but don't remember who it was.
