How do I create accounts without linking them over the internet

Question

I am a long time quicken user and ran off of a disk so never had to connect with my bank. I reconciled and entered everything manually which is my preference.

How do I do that with the new software

If your intent is to create an account which is not or cannot be connected to a bank for downloading transactions, create it as "Offline Account" (click the Offline button at the bottom of the Add Account dialog).
