how to disconnect loan account from Financial Institution?

I have a loan account that has somehow incorrectly become connected to a Financial Institution. How can I sever the connection? I have deactivated all of my online connections in an effort to get rid of this one, but this account does not have an Online Services tab like a bank or credit account does, and therefore does not have a Deactivate button. The Financial Institution and Account Number it has connected to exists, but is a different account (an IRA account). I don't want this loan connected to anything. I tired to delete the Fin Inst through the online center (Ctrl-F3+ContactInfo) but that says I need to disable to loan account connection before I can delete the Fin Inst. Anybody know what to do?
