There was a previously reported issue in which, when using the one step update process with Navy Federal Credit Union, the two factor authentication was required twice.  That issue cured in some way, but the issue has returned with the updates to Quicken. After repeated attempts to get a resolution from NFCU, I finally received the following from their tech support. My dialog with them:

"Your Message 06/14/2023 : Thank you for the update and explanation. I will share this with other NFCU members using Quicken.

Navy Federal Response 06/14/2023 :Commander Drake, thank you for using Navy Federal's eMessaging Service. Yes, this is by design in order to download the transactions automatically.  Hope you have a great evening! If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. (Emphasis added)

Your Message 06/14/2023 : First, thanks for actually reading my inquiry.
The fact is, I never log in to NFCU. Quicken reaches out to NFCU, NFCU requests the Two Factor authentication. I receive the code on my text device and enter the code in the Quicken dialog box. Then NFCU requests the code again. I receive the code on my text device and enter the code in the dialog box. After which, relevant transactions are downloaded to Quicken.

I would like to understand why two successful responses are required. Is this a bug or is this by design?

Navy Federal Response 06/14/2023 :Commander Drake, thank you for using Navy Federal's eMessaging Service. Yes, you are receiving 2 factor verification two times. The first is when you login, and the second when you start to allow Quicken to automatically download the transactions. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know."

I would be happy to hear from other Quicken users that are NFCU members that have the same issue with 2FA and especially from users that are NFCU members and do NOT have this issue.
