I setup a bank account without the routing number so I can't download transactions from the bank, what is the solution?

You most likely won't need the routing number.
To activate an existing, currently offline, bank account just select Tools / Add Account. Type in / select the bank by name. As part of the process you will be asked for the user ID and password to access your bank account. This will do the actual connection between your Quicken account register and the bank account.

Thank you…I had to deactivate and then activate the account again and it finally downloaded all the transactions, so I now have 2 accounts with basically the same transactions that I will have to delete or modify somehow
