Long time for Quicken to open

Seems to be taking an extra long time for Quicken to load…anyone else?

    There have been some discussions about Windows settings which affect Quicken startup time.

    One of the most recent, and most interesting, was to ensure your Windows network setting is for a local network. This seems to reduce the number of "defensive" anti-malware stuff that slows down a lot of applications, QWin included. See the thread starting here.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.
