How to authenticate AMEX accounts?
Unable to authenticate AMEX accounts. I repeatedly go through AMEX sign in and authentication process only to return to Quicken and get the message: "Sorry, sign in failed due to time out or connection error. Select sign in to authenticate via your web browser."

Just started tonight with the new update. Same problem and same message.

For me this problem started on R50.5 release (5 releases in June already and the month is not over)

At least its not just me having this problem. Yesterday it was my Chase accounts, fortunately restoring from backup solved this - but that didn't work for today's Amex problem.

I cannot enter a security code, which is never sent for AMEX. Sometimes says locked.
The trick I found for other accounts with the above issue is FIRST, start your browser in SAFE mode. Before opening Quicken and trying to ad the account. MUST be safe mode. Disabling extensions is not enough. Give it a try.
