Unable to establish internet connection to Firstbank of Colorado

Starting ~ July 6, 2023, I receive the following message from Quicken when attempting to update my accounts at FirstBank of Colorado: "Qucken is unable to establish an Internet connection." [OL-297-A]. I have deactivated online services for all my FirstBank accounts, and attempted to set it back up for only one account - after entering my credentials Quick immediately pops up the attached window with the abover error message.

Also - connection cannot be established for both Express Connect and Direct Connect. Tested out by creatiing a new, blank QDF file, and attempting to establish connection to FirstBank of Colorado.

Thanks! All looks good from my side.

Is there some way you could test connectivity from Quicken to Firstbank of Colorado before I contact the bank directly?

Having the same issue since 7/6/2023. Can't reset as keep getting the no internet connection to first bank.

Same here on my account. Same error message since 7/6/2023. This is one of just a few banks that use Direct Connect. OL-297-A is the error message I get stating Quicken is unable to establish an internet connection. I have 3 accounts with this bank and would like a fix for this.

I had the same issue with about six financial institutions (FI). After a lot of attempts at remedies suggested on various community threads, I found a partial solutions after I rolled back Windows 10 updates for the past 6 months. Now, I only get the OL-297-A error on three of the six FI's. All along, I have been using the latest Quicken update available for Windows.

It appears to me that there is not sufficient testing of Quicken when Microsoft releases their updates to see if Microsoft breaks something. This happens all the time with complex software. Perhaps Quicken doesn't have the resources that can keep up with this complexity. However, given the vast data regarding the symptoms from the community, Quicken should be able to rapidly diagnose and remedy the incompatibilities/defects.

I am also seeing this. I have deactivated the banking connection to Firstbank of Colorado, checked my network settings. set my DNS to Google (8.8.8.8), nothing seems to fix it. All other internet / network based connections are working fine from all other applications. This is either a Quicken or Firstbank issue.

FirstBank of Colorado is accepting connections this morning (10-Jul-2023). Quicken was able to successfully connect and download transactions - I use the Direct Connect connection method.

1stBank seems to be working as stated by swmeier above. I have not seen how it was addressed on this site but suffice to say as of 7/10/2023 all has been corrected. Updates are now working as the should. Anyone know what the issue was??

It was on the FirstBank side. Quicken connections were being blocked erroneously. They resolved the issue early Monday morning.
