Credit Card payment amounts (Q Mac)
I am paying off a couple of credit cards (auto pay) with a set amount each month. Quicken downloads the details of these accounts and tracks the outstanding balance. I have my monthly payment entered into a bill payment item in Bills & Income, but Quicken still overrides that amount with the total outstanding balance when it schedules the payment in my register. Seems like there should be a way to have the installment amount override the outstanding balance so it doesn't throw off my projected balances chart. Should I just un-hook the payment from the bank download?

Being a Q Windows user myself, I would unlink the online bill from the scheduled transaction reminder. This should keep the transaction's amount at the fixed amount. Be sure to record the reminder on or before the due date and BEFORE you download transactions from the bank containing the payment confirmations.
Let's see if a Q Mac expert user comes up with a better idea …
