I have lost my planning tool tab and my planned budget
Try going to View > Tabs to show. If Planning is not checked, check it.
Does this resolve the issue for you?
Another user resolved this by switching to classic menus and back to standard menus under the View menu. Not sure what causes this.

Ah, yes, the ol' switcheroo between Standard Menus and Classic Menus. That also works for fixing some other view issues when the settings are correct but the still exists.
