Consistent Crashing during One Step Update

I have grown tired of the constant issues with Quicken.
I am convinced that Quicken has made a software change "behind the scenes" in the last week or two, as is evidenced by my Quicken consistently crashing during the One step update.
I have attempted to resolve the issues by following suggestions by Quicken and Quicken users. I am not an I/T genius; therefore, the ongoing problems with Quicken are too much for me to deal with; [Removed - Solicitation].
