Why has Bill Manager changed Wells Fargo credit card QuickPay to CheckPay?
If your bank (the one that runs your checking account) recently required you to reauthorize your checking account and/or your bank has changed from "Direct Connect" to either "Express Web Connect" or "Express Web Connect+" you can no longer use Online Bill Pay direct to the bank or Quicken Bill Manager's Quick Pay function. The bank no longer supports this function through Quicken.
IMHO, you have these alternatives (in no particular order of preference):
I've been using method #3 for decades, since before the Internet and bank download capabilities were even introduced. It's easy to get used to this process. And I have yet to miss a single payment.
@UKR - AFAIK Wells Fargo has not, is not changing from DC to EWC+ or EWC.
Then please explain to me why the OP is having this problem.
To work around this issue I still recommend that the OP use option #3 as alternative. Less work. More reliable. Does not require the user to manually initiate every monthly payment.
@UKR - all I am saying is that the issue is not due to Wells Fargo converting to EWC+, because as far as I know they are not doing so.
I see this answer over and over again, but it never addresses the problem nor the question at hand;, it's lazy cut and paste instead of asking pertinent questions to clarify the problem. Shame on Quicken. next response will likely be to close the discussions… I see it over and over again….. you've got to do better
