One Step Update (OSU) "Hickup (s)" and NOW MORE
I unistalled Quicken and installed a new Quicken (R51.12). The installation went smooth. I started Quicken and then ran an OSU. OSU is still slow but it didn't crash. When the OSU finished it had an error message about 1 of the financial institutions. The screen showed all the other institutions with various transactions but the institution with the error was not even listed.
So I went to my other computer and did an OSU (different file) and it completed with all institutions/transactions.
Went back to the other computer and I noticed in the Account list 2 of the 7 accounts for the troubled institution had a grey circle with a gray line running thru it. Hadn't seen this before so I clicked on the circle and it let me easily reconnect the 2 account. I ran the OSU again and all is well again.
I'm not thinking this is an issue but just a momentary "Hickup" with this 1 financial institution. It is strange that only 2 of the 7 accounts needed to be reset.
Just posting as I see others having issue with specific institutions. The institution I speak of here is Municipal Employees Credit Union OK.
Just info if it may be helpful….

EDIT to include another "hickup" that has occured:
This morning, August 8, I was running an OSU and in the middle of the OSU process a popup came up. The same popup you get when you are updating Quicken to a new revision (not automatically installed). I have never seen this happened during an OSU. I declined and the OSU continued and completed successfully. Why did this occur? Did Quicken or Intuit do something to the OSU feature?
I will do another OSU tomorrow to see if this repeats.
