Why am I seeing the question if a current payment is from a month ago?

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭
I'm running Quicken version R51.12 for Windows. My problem started about 4 months ago where I would enter a payment and I'd get a message asking if this was a payment from the prior month. The prior month's payment was not skipped. The current message reads "Is this the payment for this Scheduled Bill or Deposit? Checking 07/13/2023-$xx.xx."
I've tried deleting the payee from the "Memorized Payee List" but this has no effect on the problem. These are not recurring bills but monthly manual entries for various utilities and charges.
