Have Quicken display the name that "Appears on your statement as: xxxxxx" as the transaction payee

Even after disabling the "Automatically improve the quality of downloaded payees and categories" and "Create a renaming rule" options in "Settings", Quicken seems to arbitrarily choose PART of the transaction payee information to display on the register. For example, my recent transaction that the credit card lists as "Mt. Rainier National Park Ashford WA" was displayed as "Ashford" on the register, which is patently ridiculous and forces me to bring up and enable "Edit Details" (FOUR CLICKS!) to understand what the transaction represents. There I see "Appears on your statement as: xxxx". Why can't I tell Quicken to always display THAT information and not make me search for it because of it's arbitrary process?
