Budget Date resets to 2022 even after I edit (Q Mac)

I created a budget with a start date of 9/2023

Now when I open Quicken it defaults to 2022

I searched other posts — my quicken file is local to my machine.

I did a backup and restored from that and it is still not working

Version 7.2.2 (Build 702.49933.100)

Bottom line — Quicken Support said in a MAC you can't COPY and Reset a date

They can't explain my problem - was told to just create a new one.

That is a crappy answer as after you spend 6 hours creating a budget starting over is not optimal
