Copy balance value from transaction to clipboard? (Q Mac)

This seems like a simple enough operation, and one that I would do quite often, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. I want to be able to select a transaction, then copy only the value in the "balance" column to the clipboard — so I can paste it in elsewhere (maybe back into Quicken, maybe into a different application).

Can the balance value be easily copied to the clipboard? Thanks for any pointers.

I don't see any way to copy the value in the balance column.

There's a (multi step) workaround, and it's probably not worth doing, but here goes:

    1. menu File > Print
    2. (optionally) change Include to "selected transactions only"
    3. click OK
    4. when the print dialog comes up, click PDF > Open in Preview
    5. when the PDF opens in Preview, copy the balance and close the PDF

@RickO Thanks for the info. I was hoping that there would be a simple keyboard shortcut…
