What do I do?

I have transaction of about $200 against my American Exp card. The transaction took place in mid-May of this year. There is no record of such a transaction in my bank account nor with either the American Express or with the other credit card that I use. At some point I'd just as soon remove the transaction. If it ever shows up, I can just re-create it . . . .I think.

What is the best way to remove the transaction. Simply removing it with Alt-D would be what I assume to be correct but is there some way that will screw something else up?

if you right click the transaction, there is an option to Void the transaction. I would use that.

Voiding the transaction will remove the amount, so put the amount into the transaction's Memo field before voiding it.
