Quicken asks for WellsFargo MFA code at every update, even though I don't have MFA set up on WF

For the last 10 days, Quicken has been asking for Wells Fargo MFA code at every update, even though I don't have MFA set up on WF.

Every update I have to enter the SMS code, and the update often stalls.

I tried deactivating and reactivating the WF accounts in Quicken to no avail (Quicken just downloaded some garbage after reactivation).

P.S. I also went to the WF website and double-checked: no MFA required, able to log in with password only.

I'm not experiencing that with my Wells Fargo account. However, while Wells Fargo was down with Quicken, I did go to the web site and had to enter a MFA code once. Try logging on to the web site.

I have experienced that "required code" on each new OSU for the day for the past month. Since I don't use the Android App for WF and only use the PC version I'll double check if the MFA is required.
