Sync problems with mobile app

I’ve noticed if i create a transaction on the windows client and sync it with the mobile app, if i change the date, amount or add an image in the mobile app those changes never seem to sync back to the desktop application. In fact it will default back to the original transaction on the desktop dropping the changes made in the mobile app. Is this normal? Seems like the most recent modifications should be merged with that database. If it is normal clo would suggest this as a feature request.
