This is very confusing site and I would start a new question but don't know where to go.. this topic is what I'm dealing with.
Everytime Quichen does a product update I lose transactions and then all my account balances are off.. I started doing a back up everytime I enter transactions and balance and I've stopped doing updates due to this is issue.
Anyone else lose transactions after a product update?

No, that's definitely not normal. Are you syncing to mobile and web? That's the usual cause of mysterious data errors.
