How do I change which bank account my credit cards are paid from?

Using Quicken Classic Premiere; Version R52.28; Build 27.1.52.28; Windows 10 home.

A couple months ago I had to change my bank account number. Now every time I pay my credit cards I have to open the old bank account and cut the credit card payment transaction out and paste it in the new bank account. How do I change this?

Bank payment of a credit card should be done via transfer between accounts. Make sure that any reminders or memorized payment transactions have had their category changed as a transfer from the new bank account to the credit card.

You should be entering the payment transaction from the right bank account and categorizing it as a Transfer to the credit card account. How are you entering the payment? How is the payment getting into the old bank account? It is from a scheduled or memorized transaction?

To pay my credit cards I first update them on line then reconcile them. At the end of that process Quicken asks if I want to make a payment. I click on yes and it then almost always asks if this is the scheduled payment of xx/xx/xxxx date and if the date is correct I click on yes and the payment is made. I've been doing it that way for a long time and I know there is a way to change it but I just can't remember it. I think I know where to go. Thanks
