missing icon (Status column in banking registers)

I haven't used Quicken for several months, and a few things seem to have changed with the update. There used to be an icon in the farthest left column (to the left of flags) that I could click on to indicate I recognized the transaction as legit. It's no longer there. I'd like to be able to check each transaction in my record—like balancing my checkbook—but now I can't. Can anyone help me?

    In a Banking account. click on the gear at the top right and select Register Columns. At the bottom of the list of columns, check the Status box.
