Changing Historical Transactions

Hello!

I want to change the category of a bunch of historical transactions without changing one by one. I am cleaning up my categories and I have years of data. I was hoping that changing the payee would do this but it only fixed going forward. I thought I have tripped over this once before with renaming rules but can't seem to locate this feature. Any leads? Thank you

Select all the transactions (use command-click and/or shift-click to select multiple, and/or do a search to narrow down those displayed). WIth the transactions selected, click menu File > Get Info. This will let you change the category en-mass for the selected transactions. The only caveat is that this will not affect transactions with splits. Those you must change one by one.
